“The BMW Trophy recognises the very best performers amongst the BMW dealer network, who consistently achieve the highest possible standards,” said Stavros Yallouridis, BMW Group Australia Managing Director.
“Satisfying customers when it comes to their premium motoring needs is the cornerstone of the BMW Trophy philosophy,” he said.
The BMW Trophy awards, first introduced more than 10 years ago, recognise individual dealers who achieve the highest standards of performance and professionalism in key areas of their business.
Trivett Classic has been a Sydney BMW dealer for 25 years and has previously collected no fewer than six awards, including now two BMW Trophy awards in 2008 and 2009 and the inaugural Dealer of the Year Award for Aftersales Excellence in 2008.
On the same night, Trivett Classic also collected the national 2009 Sydney MINI Dealer of the Year Award for Sales Excellence and the 2009 MINI Finance Dealer of the Year Award. Earning the MINI Dealer of the Year Award for a second time in three years proves that Trivett Classic MINI Garage also takes care of business—and their customers.
Announced at the inaugural dinner hosted by BMW Group Australia, Trivett Group Executive Chairman Greg Duncan and Group General Manager for Trivett Classic BMW and Trivett Classic MINI Garage Simon Macedone welcomed the accolade.
“When you have such a committed customer-centric team of professionals, from senior management to our representatives working at the coal face of our business, you can’t help but strive to do your very best. We’ve been selling and servicing BMW vehicles for over 25 years and it is our customers who we thank for making Trivett Classic their dealer of choice. The fact that BMW Group Australia rewards our collective team effort is icing on the cake” said Macedone.
In 2009 BMW continued as the brand more Australians selected for their premium motoring needs.
BMW again surpassed 17,000 passenger/SUV registrations, a feat never achieved before by another premium manufacturer and is Australia’s best selling luxury brand for the sixth consecutive year.
BMW has outsold the competition twenty one times over its thirty year history in Australia, clearly stamping its authority as the leading selling luxury brand in the country.
